BIOGRAPHY

Eimearjean graduated in 2007 with a Masters in Fine Art Printmaking from Camberwell Collge of Arts, the University of The Arts London and is currently undertaking an M.A. in Graphic Design. She has exhibited extensively throughout Ireland and on an international scale in cities including; New York, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Detroit, Berlin, London, Lorient and Taiwan.

Most recently she was selected to partake the New Prints 2015/Summer exhibition at the International Print Centre New York. Awards to date include: Galway City Council Artist Bursary Award, Lower Eastside Print Shop, New York, Residency Award, The Irish Arts Council Travel & Training Award, Cork Printmakers Residency Award and The Bartholomew dos Santos M.A. Printmaking Award. Her work can be viewed in the collections of O.P.W., Scott Tallon Walker Architects, The Bank of New York, and The Zuckerman Museum of Art, Georgia, USA.

ARTIST'S STATEMENT
"Without focusing on the constraints of traditional printmaking I utilize both digital and analogue processes within my practice to facilitate an experimental approach. My most recent work consists of large-scale inkjet & silkscreen prints, cyanotypes and intimate book works inspired by the open plane of vast natural environments."
